Firstly, turn on your windows system.
Bring on the windows start menu by hitting the start button that appears in the lower left corner of your home window.
Now you need to hit the arrow mark next to the application that you want to see the recent documents for.
For deleting a document from the recent list, right-click on the particular button followed by hitting the delete option from the context menu thus appeared.
Now place your mouse pointer over a document in the recent list and after that hit the pushpin icon.
Now select unpin from this list option to delete the document from the recent list. But still, a copy of the deleted document will remain on your hard disk drive.
How to delete the recent documents from the taskbar?
First of all, determines the document that you want to delete in the task bar that appears on the lower side of your screen.
When done, right-click on it and then select the delete option from the context menu to remove it.
Now place the cursor over a document in the recent list from the taskbar and after that trigger the pushpin icon.
Then you need to trigger the option called Unpin from this to delete the document from the recent list.
